Mr. Kalpesh Dave has over 20 years of experience in banking, investments, and wealth management. He is a seasoned professional and strategic leader who has driven growth, innovation, and excellence in the financial services industry across various assignments. As the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at BajajCapital Ltd, he oversees investment operations, sales, and customer service at one of India's leading investment advisory and financial planning firms. His focus is on delivering value-added solutions to HNI/UHNI/Family offices and NRI clientele. Mr. Dave was a founding team member at InCred Wealth before joining BajajCapital. Prior to that, he led and worked with Private Banking teams at L&T, Aditya Birla wealth, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICICI Bank.
Kalpesh Dave began his career in the realm of foreign remittances and trade, where he developed a strong foundation in international finance and business strategies. Transitioning to the retail banking sector, he worked as a Branch Manager at ICICI Bank, where he honed his leadership skills and gained extensive experience in branch operations and customer relationship management.
Following his tenure at ICICI, Mr. Dave also worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank as an Area Manager, overseeing the affluent business segment.
His exceptional performance led him to be awarded the best Priority Area Manager and got him promoted as Circle Head of Kotak’s affluent business, where he implemented strategic initiatives to drive business growth.
Mr. Dave then expanded his expertise to the wealth management sector, serving as the senior team leader for private banking with Aditya Birla Wealth and at L&T Private Banking. In these roles, he managed a diverse portfolio, including private banking for NRIs and international family offices demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, he was a founding manager partner at InCred Wealth, where he played a pivotal role in growing the business from inception to managing $1.2 billion in assets.
Currently, as the Deputy CEO - Wealth at BajajCapital Limited, Mr. Dave continues to leverage his extensive experience and strategic vision to lead the company’s operations, focusing on delivering exceptional value to clients and stakeholders.
Kalpesh Dave’s academic journey is marked by distinguished achievements and a commitment to continuous learning. He began his education at Vivekanand Education Society's Polytechnic, earning a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with distinction. He then pursued a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication at K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology, actively participating in symposiums and cultural events, and working on projects with BPCL.
In his pursuit of advanced knowledge, Mr. Dave completed the Advanced Management Program for Bankers at Welingkar Institute of Management in 2013, a program jointly certified by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He further enhanced his expertise with a Portfolio and Investment Management program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2014, under the Kotak Star Program.
Mr. Dave’s dedication to international finance and strategy led him to earn an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade between 2014 and 2016, graduating with a commendable grade of 3.3. He continues to build on his leadership skills and business acumen as he currently undertakes the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which he is expected to complete in June 2024.
